Changelog

What's new in Commit.

The last three releases. Commit checks for updates at launch and hourly, and installs them when you restart it.

0.1.5 Latest

Download
  • Review a folder at once. Click a directory in the Changes panel to see every file under it in one tab. Stage, unstage or discard blocks there as in a file's tab.
  • Branches go with their worktrees. Deleting a worktree deletes its branch too, unless it's the default branch. The confirmation says how many of its commits exist nowhere else.
  • New Worktree closes sooner. The dialog closes as soon as the worktree can be added, not after the repository's hooks run. It shows in the sidebar with a spinner until it's ready, and a failure shows as a notification.

0.1.4

  • Commits panel. A new tab in the right sidebar lists a branch's commits since the branch it's stacked on, by day, with authors' avatars. A bot's runs fold into one line. Click a commit to open its changes.
  • Stacked worktrees. Worktrees nest in the sidebar under the branch they build on, read from the pull request, git-town, Graphite or the reflog. The default branch comes first.
  • Open files stay current. A file's tab rereads it when an agent changes it on disk, keeping the cursor and scroll on the same lines. Unsaved edits are left alone.

0.1.3

  • Tabs named after sessions. A terminal's tab takes the title of the Claude Code session in it, with its status dot, and goes back to the program's name when the session ends.
